In 1957 in the land of Castelnuovo Rangone, near Modena, where pork meat processing has become a tradition, the entrepreneur Carlo Vecchi established the homonymous salumificio. Since 1984, Luisa Falchi (Sergio Vecchi’s wife) has been directing the business with the aim of strengthening and developing it.
The company was established and distinguished itself for local food specialties: ZAMPONE, COTECHINO, COPPA DI TESTA and SAUSAGE are still now the historical, leading products, which gave prestige and popularity to the company’s name. The time and the fast changing markets and trends led Luisa to introduce new products, thus keeping the same craftsman care that Carlo, the founder, used to employ in his production. Now as then, VECCHI combines a range of high quality local food specialties
with new product lines, based on experience and united under the OFFICINA ALIMENTARE VECCHI brand, a FOOD LAB focused on service, taste and health: innovation brought about by sixty years of hard working. VECCHI aims at safeguarding the craftsman care and vision of its products and being, at the same time, a modern food company in terms of transparency, social and environmental issues and deeply integrated in today’s social economic context.
